Welcome to Arabesque Winery and vineyard, located in Queensland's most exciting wine producing region, the South Burnett, situated about 2 hours drive North West of Brisbane in the peaceful country town of Nanango.
At Arabesque, believe wine is far more than a mere consumer product. It is a cultural symbol representing the identity of our region, our geography, traditions, and our own story.
Our grapes are taken from our small family owned vineyards in the South Burnett which have excellent regional character, typical of long warm summer days and cool nights. We focus on preserving traditional and natural methods of wine making, and feel that the cultural factor behind the wine is really important. Where wine is concerned, small wine making is best in the sense that wines produced in small quantities by families have individual character and identity that big brand wine produced in big volumes in an impersonal hi-tech refinery-winery types of environments cannot compete with.
We focus on traditional ways of wine making because we believe that wine deserves respect and should be preserved as much possible from the artificial influences of chemicals and additives such as pesticides & food additives.
